I bought a DBT workbook like 10 months ago, I used to read it during my breaks at my old job. like most self help type books, I literally have no idea what it said. I really think I should use it... just gotta get the motivation to face that.
they can be really helpful and I think you should use it... try just setting tiny goals for yourself, rather than big ones, and work your way up. for example you might start with "I will complete 3 short questions today" or something like that
I bought one maybe a year ago and feel the same! I'm going with the theory that it'll all make sense if I keep at it long enough. One page at a time...
