It can be a symptom! I definitely have it. Interstitial cystitis is also common with POTS/EDS/MCAS patients, which increases urinary urgency.

Yes! It has to do with RAAS- (renin-angiotensin-aldosterone-system), which essentially is series of hormones which regulate blood pressure by balancing fluid and electrolyte levels. The RAAS system regulates sodium and water reabsorption in the kidney which impacts blood volume, blood pressure, and urinary output.
