@kelianne you might consider talking to a professional if you're able to? Have you been officially diagnosed?

Maybe you're experiencing hypomania? When I was manic, I was super energetic, couldn't sleep more than two hours no matter how hard I tried, bouncing off the walls, talking 120mph, speeding in excess, overtly confident, so powerful I felt like I could reach up in the sky and move the planets around and that I could harness my energy to atleast light up half of a large city. But we're talking full blown mania without psychosis.

@Leerk73 it could be. I believe hypomania is less severe and lasts short periods of time, which would make sense

I am similar to those above too. But for me it can get too intense. Like it’s good until it isn’t and then it is dangerous. And this time mine turned into a mixed episode- manic, impulsive & suicidal. Not a good mix. Is this a new feeling for you? Like someone else said. Write these feelings down as they happen. I opened a note on my phone and voiced stuff to text. I talked for literally 6-7 hours nonstop. While cleaning. All night. And being awake sometimes for 3 days at a time, sleeping a Max of two hours a night otherwise. You definitely want to stop it before it gets too bad.

@ae_belli It's similar for me as far as it feeling a mix between mania, impulsiveness, and suicidal thoughts. It is new thing and its been happening more and more lately

When I'm manic I suddenly feel incredibly confident. My social anxiety dissipates, I'm constantly cleaning and putting together outfits and posting online, I pull all-nighters like you wouldn't believe. There was once during a manic episode I would wake up at like 5 AM and go on runs with my dog, which was great, but it was also incredibly unhealthy because I would do it every day and didn't give my body time to rest. I always have so much energy. My last one was medication-induced, but thankfully I'm on a good med that actually works for me.

Hi, it does sound kinda manic. I remember feeling the exact same way once years ago, when I was your age. I believe that was when I was switched from bipolar 2 to bipolar 1. I encourage you to write down how your feeling, even just a little note, especially the part about it being weird to you. If you have a counselor or med provider, it would be a good idea to share this experience with them. They need all the I formation you can give them. Just try to focus any energy you have into positive, safe activities. If you'd like to chat, let me know. I wish you the best on your journey.😁

Sounds like it could be mania. You could try cannabis or even a higher dose of Benadryl to bring yourself down a bit. If you need advice or wanna chat, please message me
