back in high school, my school counselors, my dad, and my disability support workers all wanted me to go to a life skills college (for people with autism). I refused and went to the college of my choice. I'm glad I went with my decision but sometimes I regret it. I feel like I could have learned a lot at the life skills college
You can still learn plenty of life skills without college. I’m not sure exactly what life skills you’re talking about though. Usually parents teach their children a lot of the life skills they need.
honestly I feel similarly. I’ve been feeling like I could really benefit from something like that, but I don’t know enough about supports that are available (especially the ones for adults).
