Does anyone else feel out of it a lot? Like you find it hard to think or focus, and your body feels heavy and light at the same time? I get this almost every day. What are some known causes for it?

Water and salt are the saviors. Salt Stick Vitassium salt caps help me get my recommended 5-7g of salt a day in. For water, I get a 24 ounce bottle, fill it up with cold water, and keep it on me at all times. I've found that if I drink around 6 a day with the salt, my brain fog goes away.

Oh! And you can help maximize the effect of the water by adding an ORS (oral rehydration solution) like liquid iv, drip drop, banana bag. Caffeine dehydrates so stay away from that as much as you can. Gatorade and powerade really don't help bc the sugar content, also dehydrating, is too high. You can cut it half with water to make it better hydration-wise if that's all you have access to.
Low blood pressure + extreme heat is the cause for me. I also have cptsd and adhd so I dissociate too. If you struggle drinking water, try eating high water content fruits and veggies. I can tolerate watermelon and cucumber most easily as I deal with GI issues as well. I found a list for you: Melons such as watermelon, honeydew or cantaloupe Strawberries Pineapple Peaches (I also like plums too) Oranges Bell peppers Broccoli Celery Cucumbers Lettuce Zucchini I hope this helps!
I get this and the theory with my team is that it has to do with low blood pressure and fatigue but we’re still not positive as to the true cause.
@tallgirl22 It might be for me, I have low blood pressure which might be because I dont drink enough water. I mean I try, but for some reason it's hard for me. :0

I call it dissociation. Because for me I disconnect from the world and start to curl up into my mind. Surprisingly drinking enough water and eating enough food is usually all it takes to fix it for me.
@LyraDaenestra Yeah I have a big problem with my water intake, I never drink the amount I should. I find it hard lol. Thanks though!
All the time. It's been awful lately. I've been calling it exhaustion but idk if that's the right word for it. My doctor is checking for vitamin deficiencies and I also found out I have severe hypoglycemia so she's sending me to endocrinology
@LeeannD I hope you get better soon! I'm low in vitamin D.
@birbfoot oops meant to reply here. Hope you find relief soon too! Vitamin d can cause fatigue for sure
