I can tell you as the child of a disabled parent, my mom wasn't very physically involved but my brothers and I loved piling on the couch to watch TV or a movie together. I don't remember ever being upset that mommy couldn't come play with me, that was just the way things were. Your kids will understand more about your illness and how it affects you as they get older. Even if they're upset in the moment because they're little, it's not something they'll hold against you forever
I have to make sure I get atleast 8 hours of sleep ( i take melatonin). Staying active with exercise helps me with decreasing my pain and fatigue levels. I just try to be kind to myself and if I'm having a flare up I talk with my kids about it and tell them I am sick. That way they understand I cant get up every minute for get them something or why Im moving slow. My kids are 2 & 4 years old.
