I've been walking on my tip-toes for as long as I can remember and the older I get the more it's fucked up my knees and my hips and my back etc etc. people have been telling me to stop for as long as I can remember but it's like my default way of walking, only time I don't do it is if I'm wearing boots and it's too hot where I live to do that all the time š«

@remyana interesting! I've always heard it was an autism symptom but never one of adhd. makes sense though seems how it's all on a similar spectrum

I literally JUST read an article linking ADHD to walking on your tippy toes. I still do it today and I'm 31! I hope that helps.

There is literature to support that walking on your toes is a sign of autism. Both my husband and one of my children walked on their toes, but in time ā¦.stoppedā¦.
@Mermaid3835 as I've gotten older I've taken autism as a very likely probability to explain a lot of things lol so I have looked into that too. just wish there was a way to quit doing it without having to wear those big clunky boots. crazy how much something small like that can fuck your body up
