I've been really struggling with my bipolar recently it's been hard to continue taking meds and I just have been stuck in a depressive episode. the warmer weather is coming up so I'm hoping that helps.

I get that too. I’ll get in really long depressive or upset episodes, and I also struggle with a lot of anger related to my bipolar disorder. The warmer weather usually has a little bit of an impact, but even just going outside in general whenever I can to get some fresh air. Additionally, if you have a fireplace it may help a lot to cozy up next to it. One more thing, I feel a lot safer and more comfortable when I put a blanket in my dryer to warm it up and then snuggle up with it! I know it helps me personally, and hopefully it may help you too!!

Thank you Potatoe_Time. Sometimes having to take medicine all the time, is exhausting because it's a catch 22. Me I want to take meds to help, with the depression but on the other hand. It's hard to take them because of depression, making it seem like no matter what your an outcast. Hopefully the warm weather, also helps you smile more as well

It is a struggle! For me personally, continuing to take meds when I’m struggling with depression is so difficult because I feel like “why bother?”. You sound like you’ve got a lot of awareness of your situation and here’s to hoping the nice weather days ahead are uplifting for you!

Having bipolar isn't easy, because allot of people always think your upset. In one way or another, or that your always sad. it's hard to explain what's going on when those, who don't have it say they understand when they don't. But my fiance is trying, by being there to listen to what I'm going through.
