does anyone else get pain from repetitive motor tics? I've had a lot of neck pain from straining/jerking my neck recently. any tips on how to alleviate it? unfortunately I'm allergic to IcyHot :(

      @malachai I do have a heating pack I can use! I haven't used it in a while so I forgot I had it until now. I'll look into Lidocaine too, thank you!

      ALL THE TIME!! People don't understand how annoying and painful they can be, especially when they keep going for long periods of time! Unfortunately, unless your tics are triggered, there's not much to do about em. There's medications you can take to suppress tics if they're really bad that you can look into though

      I have a face scrunching tic that conflicts with my TMJ. It's an awful experience. If you're not allergic to lidocaine, that could definitely help. Lidocaine patches can be expensive, but the cream is affordable. NSAIDs are always a good option. If you have a heating pad, or a microwavable plush of some sort, you can heat them up and apply the heat to the area hurting. The same goes with hot water bottles. Hope your pain alleviates!
