677d
I always make my bed. Someone once told me if you make your bed first thing in the morning at least you've accomplished something, even if you do nothing else all day. That sense of accomplishment is sometimes a huge boost, and can sometimes give me the motivation to do more.
678d

Don't really have the energy with this burnout so I usually just sit up, stare at the wall...scroll on my phone to keep me content for the moment then start the day I guess. Looking forward to brighter days when I care about washing my face again and brushing my teeth right away.🙌
Taking the first part of my morning to enjoy my coffee and listen to my body to determine my goals for the day.
After shower I use a vitamin C serum, Olay moisturizer and sun screen. I was my face with a face scrub.
Wash my face and do my skincare
695d
Completing a task, when I first wake up, really sets me up for a productive day. I recommend making the bed or stretching. Picking out a cute outfit, and doing my makeup puts me in a very positive mood for the day. Spending time with God makes a HUGE difference in my day!
🤗🤗 best thing in the world, is washing your face and brushing your teeth. Then having a tall glass of lavender tea (sweetened, if you wish) and some pop music from 50s and 60s and just dance.
Praying to the Lord Jehovah , a cup of tea , a good breakfast , and a stretch if I'm not achy.

Then, I turn on music and do my skincare routine, brush my teeth, and get dressed. I make a quick breakfast and also feed my dog. Whatever time I have left before leaving my house (if any) I can sit down and relax/check emails on my phone. My biggest struggle has been remembering to take my medications as soon as I wake up!
706d

708d
Listen to one of my chill or good vibes playlists, shower, make some tea and write my to-do list for the day.

A hot shower, change of comfy clothes, and cuddling with my cat, stuffed animals, and big warm blanket is a must
Picking out my clothes is crucial for me. It helps me start to think through what I have to do that day.
I like taking a hot shower, washing my face, then going out to exercise.
every morning i look at myself in the mirror until i feel like the prettiest person ever- the longer i look the less i notice the smaller things and i eventually get enough confidence to go on and face the challenges of the day

723d
Always shower always eat a healthy breakfast and try to get 7 hours of sleep
I take my medication first thing, then take a shower or wash up, depending on if I slept too long. Then once I'm dressed I eat yogurt & granola or Special K. I read devotional s while eating. Feed my cats and off to work, feeling exhausted most days. I fight falling asleep if not moving. It's so frustrating, now I'm having alot of forgetfulness if I vary my routine. Forgetting important stuff at work. I'm lucky to still have my job.
@Share Flaxseed oil takes away the stiffness, aches and pain or soreness and helps me move things along too, if you know what I mean.
Shower, wash face, brush teeth put make up on and eat breakfast while watching some TV
724d

It's simple, but having a healthier breakfast at the same time every day and drinking a while bottled water before anything else.

729d
Having my morning coffee and taking my multi vitamin!
730d
My routine for past year...I wake up early and have gotten into the habit of making my coffee. I spend about an hour or more reading Bible, devotional books and send a daily prayer to family members.
731d
Open the windows first thing and drink water
I think checking your phone when you wake to be sure you’re not missing anything important like a family member in need but making it a point to put it by the door until you’re ready to leave. It’s so distracting for me and can keep me from being efficient enough to get out the door to work 😅
Stretch, pills, coffee and off to work.
a walk through the neighborhood
Taking a shower. I'm too disabled to stand for long enough, so just sitting there and going through the action of washing helps me really wake up, and get me out of the funk I woke up with if I woke up a little sad or withdrawn.
Shower brush my hair sometimes it's too much stimulation and I have to wait to comb my hair
Shower, brush teeth and coffee before starting my day 👍
735d
I get up open my doors to get fresh morning air. Love to have coffee and watch hummingbirds outside my window.
I've been going to the gym since 1/9/22. Nothing too intense. A little cardio, small increases and heavenly hydromassage bed after. Oh and WORDLE. LOL
praying is what gets me started
Mediate first 5 mins in bed, do some light yoga postures before I get up, then basic hygienic routine + Neti, then move to the yoga Matt do a full yoga practice, take a semi cold shower with some uplifting music, fix myself up a hot cup of water with lemon and read a little
I put cannibis butter in my coffee take a dose of RSO and then I walk to the...
I walk to the gym work out a routine 20 to thirty minutes. 12 to 24 minutes of infrared light and 10 minutes of hydromassage. And while in the light booth I am doing meditation.
Brush teeth, drink water. Wear earplugs until I don’t feel so triggered, or until I’m ready to switch to having music on. I listen to music every morning instead of NPR. So much less stressful. Also music is my special interest so this makes sense for me. I would recommend giving yourself a small slot of time (if you know you are able to stop when needed) to engage your special interest or read about it. It gives you something to look forward to, but also remember back to during your whole day.
i take hot showers in the morn to wake me and my body up lol.
736d
I take warm showers in the morning. Makes me feel relaxed
Ah geezz, since I was 20. I'm 70. So much for it being a gateway drug. I've earned 2 Master degrees and am finally finishing my PhD. Better because of it. Oh yeah, HAPOY 420!!

I try my best to sit up first thing so I'm not tempted to fall back asleep. Then take my medication & drink water, take care of hygiene and self care, eat breakfast while playing Wordle. Then I plan my day in my bujo and either get to it or procrastinate, depending on how I feel that day haha

740d
to just get out of bed and sit down at my desk or on the couch, being outside my room helps me tons:)
I don't have one maybe that is my problem.
@Steph1977 maybe you could even start small with some tasks, like every day when you wake up you could stretch before getting breakfast. You could add a new task every week untill you've got a routine that makes you feel good 😎🙌
I usually lately watch YouTube and put on a nice morning scenery such as a coffee shop cafe with comforting music jazz or something very relaxing. Then I focus on all the things on the screen as I make coffee with my favorite creamer. After feeding all my cats. Then I sit and read a lot of articles and journal's research stuff constantly while I take notes. This helps with all my ideas and projects I want to complete. If I remember I take my Wellbutrin. I stop feeling too emotional. So this really helps. I lower my anxiety by doing this. However, I need to incorporate more physical therapy to help with my back joints and all. Yoga was helping immensely. Plus my aroma therapy oils.
A hot cup of coffee.
@Haddyr always does the trick ☺️
741d
I have my plain donut and coffee. Love it!
I do a few stretches in bed, make my bed, brush my teeth, wash my face, put on moisturizer, make my favorite iced coffee, & play some acoustic music. I don’t check my phone until I finish my first cup of coffee.
Doing a skin care routine

Two minutes of positive affirmations - said loud and proud.
Getting up in the morning, and taking a refreshing hot shower.
Making something for breakfast! I love the routine of making the foods I like to make, and it helps me feel accomplished. Plus the nourishment I get from food helps me focus and use my brain without feeling like I’m going to fall asleep.
Take my thyroid meds, then use the 30-60 minutes where I can't eat to prepare breakfast and loaf around 🥞

@crys superb! Keeping hydrated is "critical care" for whatever ails you. If I do coffee I insist on taking in double the volume of pure water.
I wake up take my elastics out, brush my teeth, go to the restroom, wash my hands then I don't dry them off because I do my morning skincare then I brush my hair and wear what I wanna wear. When I focus on myself it makes me feel ten times better

@Kandy It looks like you have a very good system. I am sure having your boyfriend helps a great deal as well. Having someone to talk to on a regular basis is priceless. 💕

I immediately roll over upon waking up and brain dump/journal three pages ("morning pages" exercise from The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron; it really works for promoting general mental health).
15
I usually stretch a bit then Wash my face and go downstairs to the kitchen. If, however, I feel overwhelmed I will first outline my day very specifically in my journal being sure to mention some good things to look forward to.
