I'm on Fluoxetine and Olanzapine. I haven't taken my meds in almost a week, and I'm going through another mania cycle. I'm also relapsing with my eating disorder. I'm scared to go back on my meds because I worry that it'll make me stop restricting my calories again and I really really need to lose this weight. I've never weighed more than 135 lbs and right now I weigh 150, and my BMI is 30. I feel so disgusting.

That’s a really frustrating struggle especially with meds and it sucks feeling that way. I say this with love and support- restricting is not going to bring your BMI down effectively. BMI is also not an accurate health marker. It sounds like the weight may just be a symptom for self-hatred behaviors. Eating disorder is based on survival mode and the body won’t let you thrive and lose and keep off weight in that state. If you want to lose weight in a healthy way, then send me a DM and I’ll help you. Either way I hope you find peace and safety in your body💕🙏🏻

I’d recommend talking with your doctor immediately about what’s going on. If you want to get to a better place you need to be honest with them and explain your thought processes, get their opinion on how to integrate your meds back into your routine. 💕
