what are some other ways to fight chronic illness besides physical therapy, aqua therapy, meds, hot baths/showers, and heating pads?? some people go to a chiropractor, is that helpful? or something like acupuncture? what are some other options?

i've personally gotten some symptom relief out of acupuncture and chiropractics but that was specifically for pain caused by sacroiliac joint dysfunction. if you have joint problems a chiropractor could maybe be worth it & acupuncture can help with nerve pain, but honestly if those aren't major issues for you i'd say save your money and just learn some stretches and exercises for your joints & get a TENS unit. and i know it won't fix anything but exercise to the extent that you can do it really does help chronic pain be a little more manageable. intensive exercise isn't always feasibly so i'd say go on walks, stretch regularly, do something light like yoga or some zumba maybe. limited mobility isn't a death sentence, it can be improved or worked around. researching different kinds of medication for your particular conditions is also a good idea, at least to ease symptoms that interfere with your life.

I’ve done surgeries and now it’s just a boat load of meds that help me control my chronic pain and illness
