Is it weird? That last night I started to cry after watching my fiance kill a mouse that was stuck in a trap and watch him unalive it? When I saw the blood, I immediately had a memory pop up of my first dog getting put down. Maybe I'm too soft hearted...I feel like it. is this a sign of something?

That's not weird at all. I'd react the same, especially with the memory association of your childhood pet. Could you use humane traps and release the mice instead?

  @KhronicKoder We get mouse traps from Walmart. It's too cold to let them out, they're field mice, and if we let them out they'll just come back in and be more annoying. And we can't keep them.
