do you find your different conditions flare at the same time?

Yes, absolutely. When I am in more pain, my balance issues get worse, and my anxiety gets worse. And if I get injured by losing my balance, sometimes my vitiligo flares up and I get new spots where the injury is. I have plenty of spots on my knees from that. And then when vitiligo gets worse, it affects my mood, and my depression will get worse because I’m more self conscious. And depression always makes my fibro worse and I’m right back where I started.

I wish it was easy to follow clean diets that are good for your guts 😭 haha. Because it would help but it's so hard not to just eat whatever I'm craving especially when I'm just exhausted

@yanylaurel i know! Isn't that fascinating that our gut literally thinks and communicates with our brain. People are so intriguing and weird lol

@DanniRenard, that totally makes sense why your digestive system is connected, because we have neurons (brain cells) in our guts

I definitely do my digestive issues are tied to everything, though i have no idea what GI problem i have yet. And my mental conditions definitely influence one another my ADHD is the linchpin for me it is why i developed anxiety and depression and those in turn make each other worse a lot. I've mostly managed my PCOS with a low hormone birth control and changing my diet and exercise though i do still have very painful and draining cycles so that definitely effects all my other conditions.

When one flares the rest do too. Especially if the first one is anxiety, then I often get a fibro flare along side some pretty bad joint pain and even tics

Yessss whenever I get super stressed out, my endometriosis and pcos flare up and I’ll stress bleed, which makes me more stressed/depressed, and when I’m feeling like that, my immune system sucks so I usually get really sick. My blood sugar is all over the place too because I can’t eat properly when I’m in pain and stressed. Oh and I get really dizzy too vertigo like crazy 😵‍💫

Yes! Or as soon as one stops being an issue, another flares up. Or one exacerbates the other. Lately my migraines have been really bad, then my overall mood gets low from all the pain, and goes even lower when I’m about it to start my period. But I have PCOS so sometimes the luteal phase is longer and it just make EVERYTHING worse. This is usually when IBS and skin issues flare up. Fun times! 😂
