Why won't my cough go away?

can't figure out why my cough will never go away, my guess is my post nasal drip. I've been scoped through entire system and nasal but can't figure out why I have post nasal drip 24/7 for over 12 years and then cough 24/7 for 19 years. tried everything, and now I always get monster tonsil stones due to post nasal drip.

      Why are you blaming post nasal drip for your cough when you've had the cough longer than the post nasal drip?

      Have you considered that this could be chronic neurogenic cough? There is a new treatment our for it called superior laryngeal nerve block. I may check it out. I'm having similar coughing issues

          @wolflup sometimes it does. It didn't work for me but many who have a chronic neurogenic cough have benefited from these meds. There a few more options if you search for chronic neurogenic cough online.

      try not to eat dairy and alot of suger it helps take NAC

        @wolflup I have been dairy free for 2 years now and can't drink any soda or coffee now for almost 2 years since I now have caffeine intolerance. I only drink water and a half a gallon of oat milk every two months if that

      I have been coughing for years.I notice that when I am on a high dose of prednisone..40mg.My coughing goes away.When I get back down to 5mg the coughing starts again.
