Does anyone else feel weak in their legs from just standing for more than 15 to 20 minutes ? If I move around it's not as bad but standing in place feels overwhelming like my legs may give out. Is this common ?

I experience this as well. I always worry that it’s “just in my head” or I’m overdramatizing it, but it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

It’s ok. It happens. Thank you <3 but have you looked into knee braces as well? Those things add some stability when your legs feel like that standing for too long :)
Sorry you didn't last long there Willow but they didn't deserve you...

If I stand in place for even 5 minutes, I’m in excruciating pain. I have to move around and shift my weight from leg to leg constantly. Then when I finally get a chance to sit, my entire spine hurts so badly I can’t bend it at all. I used to work retail and we weren’t allowed to sit for the full shift (aside from breaks). I’d usually be upstairs in my shop overlooking customers in that area. It was horrible to constantly have to be moving in order to not hurt. People told my manager they thought I was on drugs because I was so “fidgety” as they put it, but in reality I was just trying to avoid hurting!!! Needless to say, I didn’t last very long at that store haha
@WillowDecay oh my gawd that is how I am.. I can't walk stand sit sleep in one position. Bend over lift a 2 liter of soda pretty much anything otherwise I'm in so so so much pain.. I'm on pregablin .. Methocarbamol . Somewhat helping. But they still don't think I have nerve problems .. yet my right leg is pins and needles all the time. And fire in my thigh muscle. The pins and needles feeling goes all the way to my feet.. sucks so so much I had to quit my job. Because I'd be in tears by end of my shift

Tookie, yes the weather affects me. I live in Maine. Winters are long and painful for me. Spring can also be bc of the rain
TurtleRose...it is an awful thing to go through. Does the weather where you live effect your body?
I have both
Any lumbar, lower back pain, or neuropathy history?
I can relate
I have the same issues! It is yet another thing that most prone don’t understand. They see me walk fairly quickly sometimes and then others. I collapse our limp significantly. It’s frustrating.

My back hurts after shopping and walking a while.
Difficult and painful to stand in one place for more than five to ten minutes. Always shifting around in hopes to improve situation but must really start to walk a bit or sit down to get relief.

Thank you, it's good to not feel alone. 💕
The only suggestion I ever get is 'well then sit down' not always helpful 😉
I can’t stand more then 5-10min before I get very weak and hurting.
I'm not sure how common it is but I can only stand still for about 5 minutes.
