Hello! I have been dealing with Sarcoidosis since the early 1990's but it wasn't until 2009 the medical world finally did something to actually figure it out. The disease affects my whole body but the main organs are my heart, lungs, liver, and skin. I had a hysterectomy and my gallbladder taken out before ever being diagnosed but my doctor's now feel they were most likely affected as well since I am considered to be "systemic" I have a pace maker/defibrillator implanted to help with my heart issues. Just recently it was discovered my thyroid was hyperactive but I haven't been to a specialist yet.
