is Fibromyalgia considered a "disability", since it seems to be diagnosed when doctors don't know how to treat you? I have Cushing's Disease (in remission), and many other health issues have surfaced after that surgery....yet Fibromyalgia is the "latest" diagnosis.

Yes it is
Hi, yes, it can definitely be diagnosed as a disability. However, it is its own disease. Normally, your doc has ruled out all other possibilities before coming to such a conclusion. Also, if you have fibromyalgia long term, it's very clear what is the fibromyalgia and what's not (especially with co-morbidities).
