I just haven't been able to sleep decently for years and it's so annoying because nothing seem to work and I'm getting upset because I've already lost myself but without sleeping enough I'm so much more easier to irritate. I'm a tried, angry, depressed, anxiety filled mess.

I have been diagnosed with severe insomnia so I understand. Honestly try to be awake as much as possible for as long as possible. Then you'll get 1 good night of sleep and your body will start to reset. That only worked for me a few times otherwise I have nothing to help...
