fun fact, did you know despite all the great conversations happening around pelvic floor health, the fact that it can naturally be to strong is less talked about. and there is far less accessible information regarding what to do. years of not being able to use a tampon, sexual relations being uncomfortable thinking I was doing something wrong. Nope

I had that experience but, for me at least, it’s not that the pelvic floor is too strong. It was that the muscles were too tight, which isn’t the same as too strong. Doing things to help relax, stretch, and strengthen these muscles helped a ton

Yes, it's true that discussions around pelvic floor health often focus on weakness rather than excessive strength. Hypertonic pelvic floor, or a too-strong pelvic floor, can cause issues like difficulty using tampons and discomfort during sexual activities. It is important to raise awareness about this aspect of pelvic floor health as well.
