I've experienced some strange side effects..but I figured some ways to lessen their effects. one is putting one small drop in each eye instead of squeezing the tube I position it over the conguntive eye sac and let it drop. I've also discovered if I then press on the tear duct both eyes and wait about 2 minutes it absorbs into the eye and only a small amount drains into the nose.
