I am constantly exhausted and unmotivated. I don't work and it's all I can do to keep up with laundry and dishes. I'm not sure what the issue is, weight, diet, hormones, sleep apnea, depression, or fibromyalgia. I'm in constant pain but I stopped all painkillers hoping that would help with my energy, but it didn't. I can pretty much tolerate the pain but the lack of energy and motivation is killing me. I don't know where to start. I've been through the cycle of diagnosis and treatment and nothing has lasting results. Looking for advice on improving my health or ways to cope and make my life easier.

Hey, that sounds tough! From my experience, I recommend you consult with a physician you trust who will try to look at all the background illnesses and medications you are getting. Sometimes there are unnecessary medications or medications that conflict with each other that can cause unpleasant side effects. In addition, I recommend eating less industrialized foods and incorporating exercise that you like that will help you improve your energy levels, especially in the morning :)

Hi nightowl, I believe that sometimes a small change in your lifestyle, whether changing your diet or working out, can have an impact on your wellbeing.

Hi nightowl, that sounds really hard. It’s not a definite solution but morning yoga or stretching really lift my energy up

Fibromyalgia fatigue is a different kind of awful. Even though it’s just a part of life with this diagnosis I definitely am learning how the fatigue is influenced by my actions. What’s really been helping me is making sure I’m getting my sleep apnea and schedule under control. I thought my mouth guard would suffice but it’s also just about getting into a good habit as well. I slept like crap last night and thought I would pass out today. It’s those kinds of patterns that are best to watch out dor
