I'm new here, just looking for some extra support. My eating disorder has been especially aggressive lately. I only eat foods that are pre-packaged, so I can know exactly how many calories I'm consuming. I'm new to the eating disorder diagnosis, only got officially diagnosed a couple months ago. I was diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder almost 9 months ago now, and now that I've mostly gotten over the self harm I guess my eating disorder got worse and my therapist finally caught on to it. I'm open to any sort of advice/support/feedback anyone can give me regarding my anorexia or my BPD.

Tbh I found that just talking to someone about completely different matters while eating/picking out food helps distract my brain immensely from the urges to think about how much I'm eating or if what I'm eating is healthy. I know that can be easier said than done, as someone who's very on/off again with some form of disordered eating habits. It depends on the person, but either eating by yourself or with a small group of close friends can help immensely. At least, I found it helped me a lot. In any case I'm rooting for you! š„ŗ
