Bleeding Brown/Black Blood During Menstruation

Does anyone else just straight up bleed brown/black blood instead of fresh blood? also really dark blood clots? I know it means old blood but it happens every month or every two weeks…I also noticed that it stops when I take my Provera then later on it’ll happen again.
