It is obviously your decision but it is also your illness and not hers. You do not owe anyone an explanation. If you think it will help you, tell her. It is sometimes hard for parents to separate out their own issues from their kid's issues and I have certainly experienced quite a bit of defensiveness from my mom. I think she thinks it is her fault that I am the way that I am and it had taken some time and some research (on her part) to realize that that approach is harmful to everyone. I hope you get the support you need!

Do you have to tell her?

@Chesbro99 its more like she will be upset if i do tell her cause she will say im lying or something to justify whatever shes thinking but also upset if i dont cause she will think i dont trust and love her. Its a lose lose and im trying to think maybe if i air it all out, i can explain why i react so harshly to things.
