I'm 35, been through a mental hospital and I feel like I'm not seen enough by my family. Still dealing with the loss of my mother in May 2021...she was the biggest rock I had in keeping myself in check.

I’m so sorry for your loss❤️ I don’t know if you mean seem like physically or emotionally. If it’s emotionally, my family struggled to understand BPD. Honestly they still do. I continue to tell them key things about myself and why I act certain ways hoping it will make them do some research. I’m bringing my boyfriend to one of my therapy session so he can get some exposure therapy to what I normally go through. If you aren’t seeing them physically enough, I’d reach out and ask if you can get up something weekly maybe if they live close enough! I bet they would love to spend time with you!

Sending my condolences. I lost my mother in Sept 2019 so I know the feeling all to well. I lost apart of my soul that day
