What are your favorite coping mechanisms?

Mine is music! Upbeat music always helps and pushes me to get up and be active, motivational movies as well. When my anxiety is messing with me, I break out a diamond art puzzle. I get so focused on it, I don't stop until my neck hurts from leaning over and next thing I know 3 or 4 hours has passed and I'm much more calm

Sipping a cup of hot tea while wrapped up in a blanket is a MUST for me. I also love listening to classical music (I’m convinced I’m the only one haha), painting or sketching, and cuddling with the nearest cat.

Music is the only thing that's kept me from fulfilling my desire to self terminate. Sure there's my pet and my partner. But the pet will pass on and partners so far in my life have left me. Music isn't going anywhere. Music and food are the two things that are garunteed not to disappear in my lifetime.

mine is listening to music, having a spicy snack, and cuddling with my dog. sometimes i watch my comfort youtuber or comfort show if I’m not in the mood for music :)
