Feeling Guilty About Inviting a Guy to My Dorm

Tw talk of almost being taking advantage of I am a freshman in college at a fairly big college.We have these requests event's plus some not required ones . We had to go to a required one that night. When I went to it I met a guy who had transfered colleges I don't know why. he transferred.Right away I asked if he like video games and said we could play video games in my dorm I guess I was lonely.He said nothing anyway we talked more and I told him I was anxious to go to a couple not required event tonight so he said I'll go with you I said sure and gave him my number and then I left to go to my dorm.So later that night we met at the events and he took me on a walk around . He told me the last girl he met asked him to come to her room but the after said she had a boyfriend.He asked if I would want to come to his room and meet his roommate and play video games I said yes then no he said that is ok.Then he asked if I had a boyfriend I said yes and said sorry of asking him to come up to my room after we went to his dorms game area and I left shortly after to go to my dorm.I have so much guilt about asking him to come to my dorm I was scared I would get reported but I didn't know better.I keep overthinking what could have happened if I went to his dorm? I was filled with fear , guilt and embarrassment that night .Was I in the wrong?
