I don't believe medications are the true answer to my health condition. Any time I try them, I'm either even more depressed or I just become angry. What else, besides medication, should I trust to give my self-esteem a raise?

Honestly this is going to suck ass to hear but I’m not sure if I could tell you what can or can’t help. Judging by the responses none of the suggestions seem to help. And forgive me for asking, are you ready to be helped? Are you willing to give things a try? I know it’s difficult with depression but that’s really what it comes down to. No medication, hobby or person will help if you don’t want help and that’s okay. No one expects to want help, hell, I told my therapist so many lies to avoid getting help. I don’t know if this will be any help so if it’s not feel free to ignore it.

i am not even gonna recommend therapy because i feel the same way you do about medications. do you have any fun hobbies? stuff to keep your mind busy? that helps when i’m in a depressive episode!
