Does anyone else really get tired of their partner? one minute they are all concerned and act like they understand why you can't clean as much as they like and are ok with it then the next minute they are cussing you and talking to you like you are a 2 year old teaching how to change the trash?

yeahh my current partner is much better than my last one. cause my last one was just straight up ableist lol. but my current partner tends to lash out on me whenever they get stressed out and say that i don't do enough around the house :// and we've had this conversation so many times. even though i'm the only one working and they're the one always making the house really messy. ugh 😞 i feel you

Used to be like that with my ❀️last two husband's. I left both of them for that. Now I'm with someone who totally gets me. He cleans the house without even asking me to get out of bed to help. He knows I have depression. He hasn't raised his voice once to me in the 7 years we've been married. He works. He cooks. He takes care of me. He loves me. The only thing he might ask me to do is unload the dishwasher so he can load it when he gets home from work. I have all day to find the energy to do that. He's a super guy.

@Jen77 I love that for you. They make me feel less of a person and really down about myself with how they talk to me. I wish I could find the strength to do better.

πŸ‘πŸ½ I completely understand, although it is not something he does often it does happen. Mostly it happens in my home bc my husband and I are both SMI (seriously mentally ill). When he is doing badly and I am doing badly then you get this problem. I am sorry that you are experiencing this. I know that it sucks. With me, I know that mine is happening for a specific reason. Yours is happening bc your partner doesn't understand your journey and that's not cool. Hugs and spoons πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ₯„πŸ₯„πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜
