how do you deal with pain? I'm on baclofen, and see some results from it but not what I'd like to see. the next step is Botox, but they'd have to knock me out for that šŸ˜‚, I hate needles, and it would all be done in my lower back.

I have Botox in 4 places of my body and they don't sedate me. The needles are small.

I had baclofen and Botox as a kid but neither were effective enough to warrant continuing. I just took a shit ton of OTC pain meds as a kid and I think there's a newer muscle relaxant that they sometimes use for CP, name is escaping me currently but I have it written down somewhere...

Toaster yes they can do general anesthesia for Botox, I had it done for all of my Botox as a kid.

Have you tried streaches too? Yoga is helpful

I take Naproxen and Baclofen a couple times a week if needed and other than that I just keep going.

I take Aleve twice a day. Not so great on the liver but it does the job short term.

Iā€™m in pain management and use tizanidine and gabapentin mostly, Iā€™ve had spinal nerve blocks for my right hip as well.

Tylenol and sometimes baclofen. Warm baths with Espinosa salts help. Massaging my legs and stretching helps. Other than that I kinda just deal with it. Thereā€™s more powerful muscle relaxers too that have to be prescribed. Hope this helps!

I actually didnā€™t realize they could knock you out for Botox! Iā€™ve gotten Botox (in my leg muscles) since I was little. Unfortunately it hasnā€™t worked as well as I hoped, but it might work for you. I deal with my pain by taking medication like you do, but I also try to exercise and stretch every day, and itā€™s made a big impact on my pain. Itā€™s not perfect, but itā€™s better!
