Finding Support for Mental Health

In addition to using this app, I am in a support group that I found through a agency here in my city. I'm also in two different Facebook groups that are run by licensed counselors. I'm glad to be able to have more than one group to be in so that I can share different experiences with a lot of different people and see theirs too. While I have never been diagnosed formally with a mental health issue of any kind I know for a fact that I have struggled with depression and anxiety because I have had all of those symptoms many times that my teen years and throughout my early adulthood. I am a survivor of child abuse . While in therapy I faced and resolved a lot of that trauma and I seem to benefit from talking to other abuse survivors through the aforementioned support group.
