@Alyh I wish me and my family could get along better. But to do that, they also have to admit their faults and toxicity as well. Stop blaming me for problems they've created. But they'll never do that. I also miss having a dog for the holidays. I had two dogs for 14 years before they passed. Things just aren't the same without them. It's so lonely and even I'm not myself anymore. Alot of people underestimate the quality of life an animal can give and my dogs gave me a significant better quality of life. I'd give anything to have another. What about you? What are some of your coping mechanisms and anything you wish could be different?

I'm absolutely dreading the holidays. To be honest my coping skills are just listening to music when I get overwhelmed or go to my room to be alone.
@italianxpeaches anything you wish could be different?
