I've been on the low FOD MAP diet for about four ish years, have you found another diet more helpful for you or different medicines that worked for you? I'm still struggling with a lot of gi discomfort still, have irregular bms, and now deal with daily nausea.

Unfortunately, I do not have any answers, but I wanted to throw out there that I am finishing the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, and it has left me struggling to feel full while still facing daily symptoms (maybe not as bad as prior to low-FODMAP, but still interfering with my daily life). So I understand your stress!! I wish you the best of luck with finding better solutions!

I’ve tried low FODMAP, low inflammation, all sorts of stuff. The only thing that ever worked for me was seeing a Chinese herbalist. I did a really strict diet for a month that was a lot of soups, low oil, low spice, and cut out all alcohol, caffeine and processed foods. After I did that for 4 weeks I had my only normal BMs for years. Unfortunately a diet that strict is really hard to keep up when you’ve got a family and social life.
