So I got to see my blood work from the hospital today with my pcp. My lithium toxicity was 1.75. 1.5-2.0 is mild, over 2.0 is toxic. Apparently 1.5 after being off of lithium for a day is toxic. I hadn't been on lithium for 4-5 days and my number was 1.75. Just try to imagine what my number was 8 days before that when I was on lithium and my BP med which spikes lithium. I'm shocked I didn't die! My pcp said if she was still in the hospital working that even with my 1.75, I'd of been kept and observed until it came down. My hospital dr sent me home.

By the time my level was above 4. I almost died. Make sure you get tested every 3 months to check your levels.
