I've been dealing with stomach issues for over a week now. On Monday 1/9 I ate something that bothered my stomach a lot and I'm pretty sure it gave me gastritis (which I've had twice before). So I switched to a bland diet, made sure to hydrate, and took Tums & Pepto Bismol as needed (tho honestly I probably could've taken it more often than I did but I was scared of taking too much). I felt better on Thursday 1/12 so I tried eating normal food again but I guess Spaghettios is too processed or something and it just made my stomach pain and acid reflux come back. Each day since, it's felt a little lesser but it still hasn't gone away just after midnight on Thursday 1/19 and I'm just so tired of feeling like this. I also have pretty bad medical anxiety so the thought of going to a doctor or an ER and having to get an endoscopy is terrifying me. Plus I'm sure the anxiety and stress that comes with having two jobs and starting a new semester isn't helping my stomach issues. Anyway, I'm just stressing over this and I needed to shout into the void for a bit. Reassurance and/or advice would be appreciated.

First off sound like you need to stay away from red sauce and anything high in acid. Red sauce always makes me sick. Me and my daughter likes making pink sauce for stuff... pretty much a mix of red with Alfredo 🥰 or white sauce on pizza but some pizzas just bother me more than others. Also if you need an endo or anything like that I was freaking soo badly they gave me a shot of something to help calm me... before I even left the first room. I couldn't stop crying I was soo scared the medicine really helped. Also the one nurse held my hand until I was out in the procedure room... 💕 I'm also I'm in need of a colonoscopy every 6 mo. Those aren't as bad lol. The endos just can leave your throat a bit sore.

I ended up not taking the acid reducer because I did not like the idea of any possible side effects, so I decided to eat healthier. Pepto bismo doesn't seem to help my acid reflux that much. The over the counter acid reflux medicine that has helped me the most is called pepcid complete.
I had very bad acid reflux on and off for the past year, and I noticed that what seems to flare it up is stress. When I first experienced the acid reflux last year, I noticed a stabbing pain in my stomach and it scared me becauce I have health anxiety, so I decided to see a doctor, and she told me it is from all the stress of going back to school and someother issues that I had going on at that time and the types of foods I was eating so she prescribed me a medication for acid reflux and told me to avoid certain foods and eat more fruits and veggies.
