I know how difficult and frustrating it can be but I was able to become asymptomatic with a few lifestyle changes e.g exercise, vitamins and a detoxing. just after 3 months, I became pregnant, was able to go from 180 pounds to 123 pounds, my periods became regular again, facial hair reduced dramatically. please visit an endroconogist. those guys can really help

I tried metformin for about 6 weeks but it made me deathly ill. Recently, I was recommended to take d-chiro-inositol and myo-inositol (you can get them on Amazon for a really reasonable price). Taking them together is supposed to have the same benefits for PCOS as metformin, without all the nasty side effects. It's too early for me to say I've noticed a difference or not.
