You aren't a failure. I'm proud of you for making it a month! It's a journey you are going to have highs and lows during it. The point is you know you have it in you to stop. That is a huge accomplishment. Don't let a setback ruin your bigger moments.

It's okay. Just start again. Progress isn't always linear, and you aren't a failure. It's a process, and I believe in you, you got this.

Hey you didnt fail! I relapsed after about a year a few months ago, and it was really tough, but you have to know youre doing your best, being clean isnt a perfect process, and relapsing happens, you just have to know youre doing amazing even if it doesnt feel like it, youre gonna be okay! If you need someone my dms are always open!! šŸ’•šŸ’•

@TheOnlySneezles one thing that helped me a lot was everytine that i got the urge i would instead grab paints or markers and draw something on the place i would typically s/h, i realize s/h isnt the only way to relapse but in any case painting and drawing really help!

the longest I've gone was over a year and my ex has just made me into a monster...even with my new relationship I've tried to stop...but I just can't...I do it when I don't see him....

progress isn't linear, you are doing everything you can, it may seem like the end but you are not a failure, you are still doing better then you started and i know you can continue to do better. don't beat yourself up over this, it happens, it is so hard to only make progress with absolutely no back steps, it's normal to relapse, you can move past this i know you can!

@sunflower7 it's worse than it was before...its been a constant thing for 9 years and I can't get out. It really feels like I can't get better.

@TheOnlySneezles i know it feels that way hon but i assure you, things can improve, it takes a long time for things to be okay, much longer then we want to wait but it is so important to keep moving towards your goal and never give up on yourself. that is 9 years you have fought against this and came out on top, you are so strong and you are more then the setbacks. have you already been getting professional help?

I understand how you feel, but you aren't a failure. This time was a fluke, but you can start over.
