Need advice on partial hysterectomy recovery

HYSTERECTOMY. I have been informed that I need a partial hysterectomy (removal of uterus, keeping ovaries). If anyone has had this procedure, how long was your recovery and what should I expect when I'm on my "cycle". I've been told that I won't bleed but my ovaries will still produce hormones. I would just like to hear your experiences both good and bad. thank you! ❤️

      Hi I had a partial hysterectomy 6-7 months ago took 3 months to heal . No sex for 6 weeks . First 2 weeks were horrible could barely get out of bed I had hot flashes after surgery on top of pain . But now I have no periods not so bother some any more but I have other issues with my female reproductive area .. did you schedule it yet ? What was the issue for hysterectomy to be brung up ?

        @ChronicPainWarrior_ I am waiting for the coordinator to call me back. I have Pelvic Congestion Syndrome but because I have a blood clotting disorder I am not a good candidate for the hormonal treatments that are typically used to treat my condition. I suffer from very heavy and very painful periods which is my secondary reason for getting it done.
