Stelara has been a lifesaver for me. It really helped with clearing up my psoriasis plaques and has mostly kept them away (I take Stelara for IBD as well, so it's one injection every 4 weeks for me. It's starting to not be as effective, but I've been on it since 2014). Unfortunately I've noticed Stelara doesn't do much at all for the arthritis part of psoriatic arthritis. I actually feel like sometimes it makes my joint pain worse? But it's a trade off because I've had mostly good results with clearing up my psoriasis plaques and managing my IBD symptoms.
Remicade Infliximab made a massive difference for me. I have small patches of scale and occasional stiff hips and feet, but high school was so much worse. I get an IV once every second month and thats the only meds I take.

Just looked at my comment and wanted to say I did not mean to make one seem worse than the other just my quality of life is not good but I definitely fully understand the complications and difficulties that come with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and I truly hope that you find some things that help you
Unfortunately things just kind of got worse for me so due to muscular dystrophy I don't really think much about my psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis much anymore I have much bigger issues but I never found anything that really help with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis other than controlling my stress levels and the use of THC in different forms

@1ofmany and thank you for replying š
@1ofmany I seem to go through cycles. Winter months are the worst. I've been trying magnetic bracelets for some time and they seem to help. I've not had the extremes I had before. Others have recommended turmeric, which has had varying success. My fingers and toes seem the worst affected. Do you have anythings that you've found helpful?

Some people with psoriatic arthritis manage their pain with medication, while others find relief through lifestyle changes such as stress management, daily stretches, and maintaining a positive attitude. One person mentioned eating a ruby red grapefruit every day for 30 days helped alleviate their pain. Additionally, staying busy with work, house duties, and engaging in social support can help cope with the condition.
