hi all! I'm brand new to alike and have a conglomeration of co-morbidities that I feel very isolated about, and am equally as confused by how I got here to begin with, you know? Whether it's genetics or just developed as I've aged, looking upon my list makes me think "how the heck did this happen to me???" and oftentimes "why me???". I am only 20 years old and feel like I should be living life like "normal", not as sick as I am. Maybe that's a relatable feeling to some of you folks, and if that feeling resonates then I'd love any tips for self-love and accepting this seemingly broken body I'm in.

Hi! I’m 22 and I’m in the same boat. The thing that helps me the most is radical acceptance, no matter what happens I think to myself “I am great the way I am” surrounding yourself with good friends who understand you also helps a lot

🤗 , I can definitely relate to your feelings. I have been on three biologics and none of them have completely removed all the symptoms that go along with PSA. In the middle of taking Cosentyx it got so bad that I looked like a leper . It was terrible. On the second biologic it started clearing my breakouts but I started having severe thrush and it moved to the bottom of my feet and my nails. I had a few areas on my scalp but when they started the third one-Stelara my whole scalp is broken out. I have several stubborn places that won’t heal. The itching is driving me crazy. It takes forever to get ready !!! By the time you shower with the right soap and exfoliate your skin then your hair…….. treat your scalp which is hard to do if you have any amount of hair. Then dry off, apply medicated cream, oil and lotion just to have dry skin again in a couple of hours. It’s really so frustrating. Has anyone tried clear Benadryl liquid to rub on your body to relieve the itching?
