yes, i normally faint/get close to fainting during my gi flare ups or when im in any heat but heat makes my gi symptoms flare up so its a vicious cycle. i either faint/get close to fainting when on the toilet, when i stand up or when i get a bad flare up. i had thought i had pots or vasovagal syncope, i went to a doctor to have him see if he could tell me but he didnt believe me and sent me home so i still dont know why it happens.
