@_Robbie_ That is very good advice and I appreciate it. I do go to therapy and I am on medication but I need just something extra, you know? I love my job so going helps me out a lot. The main problem is that I am lonely.

doing things you enjoy, and trying to take care of yourself. it can be a catch-22, because depression can make me feel so unmotivated. but for me, when my space is somewhat clean and i take the time to do something for myself, like take a hot shower or read, i feel a bit better.

I definitely do recommend therapy, but if you can't get that atm, do things that make you feel happy. For me, socializing with friends makes me happy, it makes me feel more energetic, supported, and connected. I also love going out, it always makes me excited and happy to break any monotonous routines and just have fun. Do things that make you feel like that. Also, be sure to eat well. Exercise can be hard, but try your best, and if you're too fatigued, try a calmer form of exercise like yoga, or just sit outside if the weather is nice. Also journaling and talking to friends helps! I journal a lot when I need to figure something out, and it really helps me. If you feel too alone, you can also talk about it with friends. And last thing I have, do things that comfort you. If you truly can't do it anymore, see if you can take a break from work/school, it's ok to call in sick, you are sick and you deserve to care for yourself so you can get better. Watch shows that comfort you (I watch mlp, I've associated it with comfort and the happy energy with a low amount of stressy action relaxes me), eat foods that make you happy, go get a latte, anything that makes you feel comfortable and safe.

@Bxnault Ah that's good! A good way to make friends in my experience is compliment them. That'll make them appreciate you and it could also start a conversation. And if you do have some good friends, try to hang out with them and have fun often

try to branch out a bit, try to find hobbies or take a bunch of walks! if you can't find motivation, then just watch a show and get comfy, you'll feel better tomorrow.
