Started getting bruising on my hands and wrists when carrying lots of plastic grocery bags at once. They just started coming more frequently. Now if I barely skim a corner or something the bruising is there right away and more often than not, the skin breaks and it bleeds. Yikes! My Dr. has referred me to a dermatologist but I have yet to see him. I'm a DJ and it's really hard not to bang my hands during work. Any suggestions? I hate to sound vain, but these things are a bit embarrassing!

One of the replies in the provided context suggests that easy bruising could be associated with iron deficiency or as a side effect of some medications. It is important to consult with your doctor, dermatologist, or another medical professional for personalized advice and potential solutions for your specific situation.
