@MTB1960 As far as the duodenal tumor goes, I have no present problems at all. After the pylorus which connected the stomach to the duodenum was removed during the surgery in 2003, I started having problems with bile backing up into my esophagus and into my lungs. As the years went by, it started to get worse, to the point that it started to aspirate into my lungs and the danger that I would drown with my bile. My gastroenterologist sent me to a surgeon who performed a Nissen Fundoplication in 2013. Not only did it solve the problem, I haven’t even had heartburn since then.

I had my duodenal Carcenoid tumor removed in 2003. I lost half of the duodenum and half of my stomach and had both ends reattached as a result but have needed no further treatments. I’ve been getting a endoscopy every year since then and thank God, no further problems have arisen.
