I'll be having a total gastrectomy, aka complete stomach removal, in March, because I have a stomach completely full of polyps, a family history of fatal GI cancers and a gene mutation that causes GI cancer. The possibility that the polyps will become cancerous is astronomically high. I'll also have a J-tube for medicine and food post surgery. I'm looking to find someone that has gone through this, or had a J-tube for any reason!
