Does anyone have any advice on trying to get a Pots diagnosis? I see a rheumatologist, but it can take up to two moths to get an appointment with him, so is there anything I should do in advance other than monitoring and recording my heart rate?

You need a referral from your primary to get a cardiologist. Press for a tilt table test for a diagnosis.
My PCP sent me to a neurologist who diagnosed me through a autonomic testing (tilt table test)

my pcp sent me to a cardiologist who then sent me to a POTS specialized cardiologist which is how I got my autonomic function test set up. took many months in the making but my process was a little excessive
I personally got a referral to Stanford and had autonomic testing done; in the meantime like you are currently doing I recorded and monitored my heart rate and symptoms. I had to go without meds a few days prior to my testing. I received a diagnosis day of my testing! Good luck I hope you can get in to see someone, I know the relief it gave me š
