This post made me cry. Man do I understand this pain, literally every single relationship I sabotage. Just last week i lost my SO due to me trying to self medicate. She’s the one who pushed me to get an evaluation. I’m 33 and just now got diagnosed. It really sucks when my brain makes the wrong choices for the right reasons. All I can tell you is let him see how much you care. What’s his love language? Try to make sure you are showing him love in his language as it may be different from yours. I need some advice here myself, but I hope this helped.
