Dealing with Abilify's Side Effects: Weight Gain and Restless Legs

I am about to start abilify 5 mg. Does anyone have experience with weight gain and solutions to combat it? I'm also concerned it will give me restless legs at night because that has happened before when I took an anti psychotic. I would be very grateful for any insight.

That's interesting. Quetiapine (Seroquel) gave me restless legs, but it went away when I stopped taking it. The restless legs were bad it gave me panic attacks. I was on Omeprazole (Zyprexa) but I gained a ton of weight. I tended to sleep-eat. So I'm really hoping Apriprazole helps me. Maybe if I get restless legs, I'll ask my doctor about pramipexole. Thank you!

I didn't have any weight gain, but it did make my RLS so much worse. So my doc put me on pramipexole and that helped.
