My depression has made a crutch out of sweets; and now, when I am even a little, upset I can't stomach anything that's not sweet. Is there any way to help get over that?
Try having the mindset of using sweets as a reward system instead. For example, if you did some exercise, allow yourself something. Maybe you could journal your successes, even if they are minor and don't seem like successes, you could still journal it and maybe even make it cute with stickers and colors! Make the reward system fun for yourself!
